LeadershipDonald G. Scully, Jr. is the founder of Louisiana Wealth Advisors. Don has more than two decades of experience in investment and protection-based financial planning. He has spent the majority of his professional life in leadership roles within a career agency system distributing life insurance, disability income insurance, and investments. He has served as a General Agent for more than fifteen years for mutual life insurance companies. Don holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 registrations with FINRA.
In his General Agent roles, he has fostered positive, supportive environments to help agents build successful careers. Through economic downturns and natural disasters, he has built agencies that have achieved sustained, profitable growth even during these uncontrollable circumstances. He has trained and developed agents with selling systems including Wealth Building Cornerstones, Lifetime Economic Acceleration Process (LEAP), The Living Balance Sheet, and Sandler Systems. Through the years, Don has continued to personally advise business owners and professionals to help them achieve their financial and personal dreams. Don is an active supporter of our Louisiana communities through philanthropic and civic organizations. Under his direction, his businesses have supported numerous initiatives that help foster the cultural and recreational activities that make Louisiana a great place to live and work, including coastal restoration, outdoor recreation, sports programs and community festivals. He believes in the importance of maintaining our state’s unique heritage. Also, he is passionate about organizations directly impacting children’s health and palliative care, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its Baton Rouge Affiliate Clinic, the Bella Bowman Foundation, and Cancer Services of Baton Rouge. A native of Louisiana, Don graduated from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge in 1986 and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia in Athens in 1993. He speaks Spanish fluently. He resides in Baton Rouge with his wife, Elizabeth, and his two children, Katherine, seventeen years old, and George, fifteen years old. |
